Contrast Plunge

I’ve always had bad ADHD. I’ve been on prescription medicines for as long as I can remember. I bought the snug tub to help with my physical recovery but I’ve noticed an unexpected benefit: a significant improvement in my decision making abilities. I work in a high stress job in healthtech. My speech has improved. Less filler words (umm, so, like), higher attention span, more motivation, and overall much better at my job. I think it’s because of the extended and sustained dopamine release due to cold exposure. I didn’t imagine that it would make me far more productive in my 9 to 5.

I’ve also felt my mental health improve (now the main driver of my continued use), inflammation, etc. There really doesn’t seem to be any limits to cold plunging and its benefits. If you’re on the fence, just do it. The more you delay, the more you wait to improve. I promise you will not regret it.

I have been following Wim Hof for his breathing techniques for a while. Then I learned about his cold exposure training, as treatment for anxiety and stress. I first tried cold showers and that definitely gave me an energy boost and I even felt my stress was dropping. So I took a leap and bought a plunge from Contrast. I’ve been committed to taking a plunge every morning for this year, and my life has changed permanently for the better.

What's it like? The first 20-30 seconds are a shock but after that I experience, a euphoria. I just feel great. Once you're steady and consistent - cold water immersion is by far the best experience to start seeing other benefits and improvements in quality of life. I'm happier, have more energy, am less stressed, less anxious, less worried. I cannot recommend this product enough... You've got to try it.

It’s been so easy to use, clean, and is portable to travel with. I love it. I Highly recommend it. 4 stars because of shipping delays but it’s totally worth it as the quality of the pod is exceptional and Austin and John from customer service are great too!
